The Forca Goa Foundation launched the Little Gaurs League, a state level grassroots football league to provide opportunities for children in Goa to play regularly in a safe and organised environment. Widely regarded as a key strategy in developing footballers, increasing game time for young players helps hone their decision making ability and match skills.The Little Gaurs League has been recognised as one of the Top 10 Baby Leagues in India by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Children born between 2010 and 2018 are eligible to play. Kindly check the registration form for category specific eligibility. The Under 13 Age Category (Cutoff 2010) is exclusively for girls.

The 2022-23 season of the Little Gaurs League will kick-off in Mid/End November.

The Little Gaurs League is played across three zones in Goa – North, Vasco and South. Each zone has its own match day venues. Registered teams will receive all necessary information.

Absolutely not! The Little Gaurs League is open to any one with a team within the specified age categories. You may form your own team, and get them registered.

While we do recommend having a licensed coach as a team manager, it is not mandatory. Even a parent can field their own team.

Yes, all Little Gaurs League matches are officiated by referees provided by the Goa Football Association.

The objective of grassroots football is game-time and experience over competitive display. That being said, the Forca Goa Foundation works closely with FC Goa to foster grassroots football in the state. The League is facilitated and closely monitored by the Foundation’s coaches who share scouting reports with FC Goa. The League is also a hotbed for local scouts from the state’s premier clubs and academy setups.

Yes, tournament data including match day results, league tables and tournament schedule will be available on the league’s website. You can find a participating club’s page from the directory here.

Yes, you may select an age category from the above to start the registration process. Add player information, Upload identification proof and proceed to pay the registration fee for the number of players registered. The registration fee is Rs. 500/player.

To facilitate smooth operations and setup, registrations will close two weeks before the first matchday.

Yes, a coach/academy/club can register multiple teams in the same age category. Each team must be registered individually and be named alphabetically. For eg: FC Goa A, FC Goa B and so on.

While registering multiple teams in different age categories, kindly add the age category as well. For eg: FC Goa U6, FC Goa U8, etc.

You can register your team and pay the registration fees later. Simply click on the Registration Button of an Age Category and select the ‘Register, but Pay Later’ option. You will receive a payment link on your registered email which can be used to make the payment anytime at your convenience. Kindly check your inbox after submitting your registration form.

Remember, your team’s participation will only be confirmed upon payment of the registration fees. Kindly ensure that you the amount two weeks before the first League match day to avoid forfeiture.

After successful payment completion, you will receive an invoice on your registered email. Kindly allow us 2 days to verify the player details and documentation shared. Once your team profile has been created, you will receive a call from your Zone manager with further details/instructions.

If you wish to withdraw a registered team, kindly write to us at info@forcaoa.org. Refund of registration fee will be issued for cancellation or withdrawal before 2 weeks from the first match day. Any withdrawal after this date, will not be issued any refunds. In case of disqualification, no refund will be issued. 

In the unlikely event of cancellation of the tournament, the registration fee will be refunded in full.

The Little Gaurs League follows the Guidelines specified for Baby Leagues in accordance with the AIFF. Please refer to the brochure for the tournament’s point system and the Baby Leagues Rulebook for game and match-day regulations.
